Invisible Skateboards

To celebrate 25 years of Girl Skateboards and the launch of the Girl Films + Chocolate Cinema Video Archive, the company held a short-film contest. Inspired by their vast back catalog of visionary skate videos, I created a loving homage to the Invisible Skateboard part in Yeah Right.

With a limited amount of time and resources, I quickly wrote a script, called in favors from friends, set two shoot dates, and oversaw every aspect of production through final lock—all before deadline. Creating a collaborative and creative experience for everyone involved.

The Original Invisible Skateboards was chosen as an Honorable Mention by director Spike Jonze, highlighted on GirlSkateboards.com, and featured across the brand’s social platforms, including the Crailtap blog.
