9 Point Studios
Full redesign of the brand, booking experience, and lifecycle communications for a professional recording studio located in Greenwich, Connecticut.
The studio's online presence needed a remix.
9 Point Studios had the space and the talent, but nothing about how they showed up online reflected that. The tone was generic, the booking process was clunky, and once someone did book a session, they were met with silence.
Working alongside an Associate Creative Director, Design, and a Developer, we set out to give 9 Point Studios a creative refresh as bold as the work happening inside the walls, carried through every point of contact an artist would have with the studio.
I started by making the voice more direct, a little irreverent, built for musicians who want a studio that feels like home. Reporting directly to the client, I made sure that voice held up in every conversation, not just on the page.
Next, the inquiry and booking emails needed the same treatment, so the first response a potential client received from 9PS sounded like it came directly from the owner Rob, not an auto-reply.
That voice carried through a lifecycle email system spanning six touch points, plus a welcome packet and recording-prep guide clients receive before arriving. The original reminder email read like raw calendar-export text, so the rewrite needed to sound like it was written by someone looking forward to the session.
